I've created an RSS feed for beckthebuck so that you can add it to your friend's page even tho it isn't powr'd by LJ. So, add beckthebuck_rss if you want to see when it gets updated (not very often).

In related RSS feed creating MADNESS, I've also created a feed for my other blog thebikeadvocate. Feel free to add that and contribute if you are so inclined.

Just As I Am
On Saturday night, Allison and I went to see the Cuntry Kings perform. Given that lately I've been doing a lot of thinking about gender, specifically my own placement on the butch-slash-femme/girl-slash-boy continuum, I was extra excited to be in a place where I didn't really have to think about where I fit. I was happy that just a few miles down the road I could congregate with fellow dykes and like-minded individuals that didn't have big issues with whether to call me sir or ma'am. Where "dude" is a compliment, not what some frat boy calls me when he needs to get my attention from across a parking lot.

Apparently in the first level you played as the character of Shelby, and your goal was to eat as many cookies and drink as many cups of orange juice as you could within a certain time limit. If you were speedy enough you moved onto the next stage. However, if you were too slow your character would go into diabetic convulsions (one of the more memorable scenes) and eventually pass out.
